Control panel Parameters
1Salary and employment periodDrives the result

Enter the employment months and monthly salary — the gap in the panel alongside updates instantly. For most people a single row is enough.

From month To month (inclusive) Monthly gross salary (₪)
Salary changed over the years? Add periods

A separate row for each range of months with a different salary. The estimate sums all periods.

2Contribution ratesSet to legal minimum

Already set to the legal minimum (18.5%). Change only if your workplace contributes differently.

Adjust exact rates & salary cap

The default (18.5%) is the minimum under the Mandatory Pension Extension Order; at many workplaces the contribution is higher — up to 22.83%. Check your payslip or employment agreement.

The employer may contribute based on the national average wage (13,769 ₪ as of 2026) even if the salary is higher. If your agreement contributes on the full salary without a cap — clear the checkbox.

3Existing balance in the fundOptional

Entering your actual balance reveals a possible gap against the amount that should have accumulated.

Where do I find my current balance?

In the annual report from the fund, on the pension fund's website/app, or on the Ministry of Finance's Har HaKesef ("Money Mountain") portal, which consolidates all pension savings registered in your name.

Should-have vs. actual comparison

What does this show?

The tool sets side by side the amount that should have accumulated based on salary and contribution rates, against what actually exists. Enter your existing balance in step 3 to reveal the gap; without a balance, it shows the expected composition of the accumulation between the employee and employer shares.

Breakdown by period

A rough estimate only — it does not include returns, management fees, indexation, or exemption periods; it is not legal, pension, or accounting advice. The figures are accurate as of 2026 per the source provided and should be verified against an official deposit statement.

Please note

  • This calculator provides a rough estimate only, based on the salary and contribution rates you entered, and does not constitute legal, pension, or accounting advice. The calculation does not include returns that accrued or should have accrued in the fund, management fees, indexation, arrears interest, or contribution-exemption periods (such as the first 6 months for an employee without prior insurance). A gap between the calculated amount and the actual balance may indicate that the employer failed to transfer funds — a matter that may also constitute a criminal offense under the Law for Increased Enforcement of Labor Laws. If a significant gap is suspected, it is advisable to contact the pension fund for a detailed deposit statement and, if necessary, to consult a workers’ organization, the Har HaKesef portal, or an attorney specializing in labor law.
