Haredi Soldier Denied Entry to the Train on a Claimed Restraining Order

A Haredi soldier who was assaulted at the Israel Railways station in Jerusalem sought to use Israel Railways again and was blocked by Israel Railways security guards, who claimed that a restraining order barred him from the train. The soldier was detained at the railway station until the Israel Police arrived. The police noted that, since the railway did not have a restraining order, they had to release the soldier and allow him to travel safely without any further interference. Following the incident, the soldier filed an additional complaint with the Israel Police against the security guards.
